A Day in the Life

Collaboration is key in our environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with product managers, UX designers, applied scientists, and business intelligence engineers to innovate, measure, analyze, and refine the experiences we deliver to millions of customers globally on a daily basis. While our roles are clearly defined, we encourage individuals to cross boundaries and learn from one another.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for new and existing systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of comprehensive software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors including market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
