Job Summary

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and logistics functions for MC Molds Inc. This includes managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, as well as identifying and implementing solutions to shipping issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement process, including selecting and developing suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
  • Oversee the logistics function, including managing shippers, BOL, packing slips, and shipping documentations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate and write reports on accidents and incidents.
  • Develop and maintain a company-wide safety program, including creating, acquiring, keeping, and maintaining all forms under this program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documentation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cutting tools and machinery is a plus, but not a requirement.
