Job Summary:

Live Nation Entertainment is a leading live entertainment company that offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. As a Security Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees at the Leader Bank Pavilion. Your primary responsibility will be to screen guests, monitor venue access, and maintain a fun and safe environment throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Live Nation and the Leader Bank Pavilion in a professional manner to all venue visitors, including business partners and artists.
  • Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order, and to protect the venue property.
  • Adapt to the security needs of our diverse artists, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue, upholding venue policies, and escalating concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner.
  • Operate walkthrough metal detecting devices and hand wands to screen individuals, preventing passage of prohibited articles into the venue.
  • Greet guests, answer guest questions, assist guests with navigating the venue.
  • Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly implement various training methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Warn persons of code of conduct infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred. Guard Card a plus.
  • Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Passion for and proven experience building a diverse workplace by utilizing diversity job platforms, partnering with diverse colleges and community organizations.
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
  • Action-oriented and results-driven individual.
  • Passion or interests in music, technology, and media.
