Senior Desktop Support Specialist

The Hollister Group seeks a seasoned Sr. Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users, ensuring swift resolution of complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional support to end-users, addressing technical issues efficiently
  • Manage desktop configurations, including updates, patches, and security settings
  • Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues related to hardware, software, and network environments
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles, support documentation, and troubleshooting guides
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the support teams
  • Identify recurring technical problems and develop long-term solutions
  • Participate in small-scale IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations
  • Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in technical support
  • Strong expertise in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Windows Group Policy management
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, like ServiceNow, for ticket management
  • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA A+, and Network+
