We are seeking a reliable Fabrication and Welding Specialist to join our team at Marathon Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing regular and preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, tools, and building. Your duties will include assisting in the repair of woodworking machinery, in feed/out feed systems, hand tools in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturing specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating when necessary, as well as assisting others with the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Performs regular and preventive maintenance on all machinery, equipment, tools, and building.
• Assists in the repair of woodworking machinery, in feed/out feed systems, hand tools in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturing specifications.
• Welding and fabricating when necessary as well as assisting other with the process.
• Performs preventative maintenance, as scheduled.
• Maintains records of repair and maintenance activities.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Participated in safety, CI and other.
• If assigned to the Treating Department, performs duties consistent with hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices.
• Prepares various reports as required and any other duties that are requested on a day to day basis.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in fabrication and welding. If you have experience in woodworking machinery, in feed/out feed systems, and hand tools, we encourage you to apply. Additionally, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills.
