Job Title: Sr Security Engineer, AppSec
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to collaborate with our software development teams in ensuring the security and integrity of our services. This role involves working closely with engineers to identify, assess, and mitigate potential security risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application security, with expertise in threat modeling, secure code review, and security automation tool development. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills to effectively articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive threat models for various software projects
- Conduct manual and automated secure code reviews in Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Design and implement security automation tools to streamline our processes
- Collaborate with developers to integrate security best practices into their workflow
- Provide training and guidance on security principles and practices to internal teams

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of application security, threat modeling, and secure coding practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $143,300 and $247,600, depending on location and qualifications.
