Senior Machine Learning Expert

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a member of our personalization team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative data-driven solutions to enhance customer experiences and drive sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics, with a focus on machine learning and AI. A PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics is required, along with 3+ years of experience in computer vision and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop large-scale, personalized recommendation models for our omni-channel retail platform using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures that support computer vision applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of algorithms and models, including documentation of model performance and validation.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- 3+ years of experience in computer vision and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of machine learning and AI techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Pyspark.
