This role works independently, with a focus on quality control and direction from the plant manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing field scrap documents
  • Inputting layered audits into weekly trackers
  • Creating and maintaining supervisor employee files
  • Collecting and distributing mail
  • Answering phone calls and directing messages, as required
  • Processing FedEx dealer documents and delivering on the plant floor
  • Processing checking Mark Outs for proper completion
  • Updating daily huddle up slide decks
  • Processing requests to shippers
  • Working inbound TWI's and processing Manual ASN's (Advanced Shipping Notices or Inbound Purchase Orders)
  • Processing and managing X-Transfer requests to other facilities
  • Responding to RFI's and Field Wires and creating PC82 to ship parts when requested
  • Reviewing and updating Scrap and VPI reports as needed
  • Researching and correcting Scat Tag issues
  • Verifying locations are set up correctly on IIP and making pallet moves and adjustments accordingly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating and posting the Paragraph 71 overtime equalization report
  • Posting Local Seniority List
  • Posting notifications throughout the facility
  • Distributing weekly SCAT tag report
  • Tracking and distributing 10-minute audit compliance
  • Tracking and distributing finished product audit compliance
  • Running employee report cards

Monthly Tasks:

  • Creating Monthly zero claim quality awards
  • PSRB Minutes
  • Posting PSRB Minutes on Level II BPD Boards
  • Posting weekly Seniority report
  • Audit of No Blip-JIT to flex chart compliance

As Required:

  • Creating file folders and performing general filing
  • Sending FedEx letters to employees
  • FedEx access must be provided to Administrative Assistant
  • Monitoring and fulfilling general stationary supply requirements/requests
  • Processing all SAP requests
  • Administrative Assistant to be set up as Purchaser
  • Maintaining and distributing salaried organizational chart
  • Assisting leadership team members, as required
  • Assisting with and/or completing ILM requirements
  • Filing transportation paperwork (bill of lading)
  • Maintaining and utilizing Client/SLT administrative tools to support pull systems

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-4 years of prior office experience required
  • Microsoft proficiency required
  • Must have a strong fundamental for filing systems
  • Must be able to adapt to ongoing projects in the facility
  • Must be able to walk up to 8 hours
  • Must be computer literate and able to learn inventory systems
