The selected individual will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the ongoing development, auditing, and reporting processes within the organization, contributing to an established ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the corporate security infrastructure to ensure alignment with ISO27001 certification and other recognized industry standards (such as NIST).
  • Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations, identifying necessary controls and monitoring them against established objectives and performance indicators.
  • Draft, revise, and implement security policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support for the execution of security governance and assurance initiatives, including internal audits and testing procedures.
  • Promote ongoing security awareness by developing and delivering training programs.
  • Guide team members in understanding security protocols and procedures.
  • Design and execute security audits to verify operational integrity.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting thorough post-incident reviews and root cause analyses.
  • Examine and catalog both client and customer agreements for security provisions, service level agreements, and other security-related commitments.
  • Research and propose security enhancements to bolster the organization’s security framework.

Core Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in security management, ideally within the medical device sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO27001 ISMS.
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and similar data protection regulations.
  • Solid understanding of technical security measures and concepts, including network, endpoint, and application security.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISC2 certification in information security.
