Cybersecurity Director Job Description

At Marshwinds International Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Director to lead our organization's cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective cybersecurity strategies to protect our critical information assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Oversee the management of cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT, Regulatory Compliance, and Risk Management teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure effective cybersecurity services.
  • Manage and monitor cybersecurity incidents and respond accordingly.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity awareness training programs for employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security and cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with incident response, penetration testing, vulnerability management, SIEM/log analysis, network security, endpoint security, and Active Directory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification.
  • Experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, and adjacent technology domains.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 security concepts, policies, settings, alerting, audit logging, security and compliance center, cloud app security.
