Medical Assistant Opportunity

Rhino Medical Services is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at a Primary Care Employee Health Clinic in Odessa, Texas. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
  • Prepare and label samples for laboratory testing
  • Obtain blood & urine samples, measure and record vital signs, maintain clean exam rooms
  • Clerical responsibilities as necessary
  • Exhibit good clinical judgement within the scope of the role with or without the provider present
  • Follow all clinical and clerical protocols per company policy
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • 1 year of recent experience in clinical settings
  • Current CPR or BLS certification
  • Ability to drive-in daily to Odessa, Texas
  • Phlebotomy/Venipuncture skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems
