Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Kidney Transplant Coordinator to join our team at Thomas Jefferson Univ. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and presenting potential renal and/or pancreas transplant recipients to the transplant team, actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and managing waitlisted patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and present potential renal and/or pancreas transplant recipients and donors
  • Activate and follow patients on the transplant waiting list
  • Admit potential transplant recipients for transplantation
  • Participate in patient education during transplant clinic hours
  • Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse in PA required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years experience with renal and/or transplant patients
  • Strong communications and writing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications
