Job Overview

As a key member of Classic Industries Inc., the Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for executing troubleshooting, maintenance repairs, and preventive upkeep for all machinery and facilities. This role requires collaboration with production teams as necessary, ensuring that the maintenance shop is orderly and well-maintained.


Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Specialist will:

  • Conduct regular monitoring and upkeep of daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery and facility infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with various departments to guarantee optimal operational efficiency and product quality, minimizing downtime.
  • Perform safety checks on all machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment to ensure effective and secure operations.
  • Assist in the setup of new or specialized equipment, including automation and robotic systems, in conjunction with relevant departments.
  • Document and report repairs executed on equipment.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues as they arise.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and inform the Maintenance Manager when replacements are needed.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical principles, and interpret related schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations regarding mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as mandated by OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the shop and work areas, adhering to company policies.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Experience in maintenance and mechanical roles.
