Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team at the Northport VA Healthcare System. As a board-certified cardiologist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cardiac care delivered to referred patients and participating in daily ambulatory/outpatient Cardiology clinic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult, manage, and provide education and counseling to Veterans in preventative care
  • Apply evidence-based care for various cardiac conditions
  • Supervise comprehensive outpatient cardiac procedures
  • Establish a professional relationship with clinical service providers
  • Provide telephone and curbside consultations
  • Screen consultative and procedural requests for appropriateness
Requirements
  • Experience working within the VA or with complex veteran patient populations a plus
  • U.S. Citizen
  • B/C in Cardiology
  • Holds a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in ANY U.S. State
