Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the reconditioning process, ensuring that all vehicles are thoroughly inspected and repaired to meet our quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality in the reconditioning process.
- Collaborate with the inventory and buying team to establish supply chain goals and ensure that our dealerships are consistently supplied with a variety of vehicles to meet their sales demand.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing reconditioning team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure that our vendors are meeting our needs and providing high-quality services.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the organization to improve supply chain processes, efficiency, and productivity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive repair and/or supply chain management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and work with all levels of employees and customers.
- Strong analysis and decision-making skills, with the ability to collaborate with various divisions within the organization to achieve results.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
This position works in both an office and outside work environment, with occasional exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme heat, cold, humidity, and rain.
The incumbent will routinely use office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, calculators, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
