Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team at Peraton, a recognized leader in Cyber, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Operations, and Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
• Configure Linux operating systems and support SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) and Replication Server.
• Install and configure MIDB database and application software.
• Perform database backups and system restoration, monitor database performance, and perform troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study with 8 or more years of experience. Additional 4 years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
• Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active.
• Linux (CentOS or RHEL) experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and Tier 1 communication skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining critical documentation (SIPs, SAGs, SOPs, Getting started guides).

Target Salary Range:
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
