Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in mentoring and training behavioral health technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement efficient routes for consumer transportation, taking into account traffic patterns, client locations, and scheduling requirements.
  • Oversee the inventory of site supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and timely restocking.
  • Enforce adherence to daily operational expectations by holding technicians accountable to professional standards and facility policies/procedures.
  • Allocate room assignments for technicians to ensure optimal distribution of resources and skills.
  • Transport consumers to and from the facility, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and protocols.
  • Co-facilitate group therapy sessions with licensed clinicians.
  • Interact with clients daily to support them in working towards milieu goals.
  • Handle crisis situations, including CPI-approved physical intervention and CPR if necessary.
  • Participate in meals and snack times with clients.
  • Perform light daily straightening of the milieu to ensure a clean and organized environment.
  • Responsible for cleaning up bodily functions while clients are under milieu care.
  • Complete documentation as required by the clinic's policies and procedures.
  • Communicate daily with FACE to FACE staff regarding clinical and administrative issues/activities.
  • Provide coverage to all NOFC locations as instructed by the Behavioral Health Technician leadership team.
  • Fulfill all initial and ongoing training requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or pre-bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling is highly preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of NOFC experience required.
  • Must be able to work well with all types of people and all populations, including children.
  • Must possess a current Michigan Chauffeur's license.
  • Approved driving record is required.
