Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Rail Operations Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. This role will oversee the safe and efficient operation of locomotives and trains, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Lead engine and train service crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Safety, Training, and Compliance Managers to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Business, or related field.
- Locomotive Engineer Certification.
- Completed GCOR Training Program within the last 3 years.
- 7 years of experience as a railroad engineer for an FRA regulated railroad.
- Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of FRA Regulations on Operating rules GCOR, Timetable, and Special Instructions.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $88-$132 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Other Requirements- Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical examination.
- Able to work 24/7.
