Community Engagement Specialist

The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties is seeking a Community Participation Instructor for our Community Fusion program. This day program serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Community Fusion is a day program designed to assist individuals with disabilities in becoming active citizens in their community. Participants can choose from a variety of activities throughout the day. The Community Participation Instructor will assist these participants in a range of activities, including community involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants in daily activities
- Facilitate community involvement and participation
- Provide support and guidance to participants
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure participant success
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with people with disabilities preferred
- Must be physically able to care for participants with disabilities
- Valid PA driver's license required
