Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit (CCVCU) team, working night shifts. As a member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, prioritizing the needs of our pediatric patients and their families.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address patient needs, ensuring seamless care transitions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting a culture of transparency and respect.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with advances in pediatric critical care and cardiovascular medicine.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
- Membership in pertinent professional organizations.
