About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at a top-rated hospital in New York. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients. Your strong clinical knowledge and caring bedside manner will make a significant difference in the lives of our young patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in the PICU
  • Active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements and certifications as requested by the facility/unit
