As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality clinical care to children from birth to 18 years old, while also serving as a designated Preceptor to Nurse Practitioner students from Upstate's College of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients in our cutting-edge Pediatric Clinic, utilizing your clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Precept students at the College of Nursing, sharing your expertise and experience to help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Hold a faculty appointment at Upstate Medical University College of Nursing, contributing to the academic and clinical development of our students.
- Demonstrate your commitment to caring for an underserved population, requiring a unique level of compassion and cultural awareness in your interactions with patients and families.
- Collaborate with our team to improve quality and enhance patient, employee, and learner experience.
- NYS licensed/registered NP required.
- Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner & current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required.
- NPI number and Medicare enrollment with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire).
- CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Monday through Friday, Days-No call or Weekends.
