Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Ambulatory Clinic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical care to children from birth to 18 years, while also serving as a designated Preceptor to Nurse Practitioner students from Upstate's College of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to patients in the Pediatric Clinic, utilizing clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality care.
- Precept students at the College of Nursing, mentoring and guiding them in their clinical practice.
- Hold a faculty appointment at Upstate Medical University College of Nursing, contributing to the education and development of future healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to caring for an underserved population, requiring a unique level of compassion and cultural awareness.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, enhancing patient, employee, and learner experience.
- NYS licensed/registered NP required.
- Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner and current National Certification consistent with clinical practice.
- NPI number and Medicare enrollment with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) required.
- CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Monday through Friday, Days-No call or Weekends.
