Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Ambulatory Clinic team. This role offers the ideal candidate a chance to practice in a NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home, providing clinical care to children from birth to 18 years. As a designated Preceptor, you will have the opportunity to mentor Nurse Practitioner students from SUNY Upstate Medical University's College of Nursing.
As a member of our direct care staff, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of primary care in this cutting-edge Pediatric Clinic. Your clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills will be essential in precepting students and holding a faculty appointment at SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Nursing.
This role requires a unique level of compassion for both patients and families, including the ability to communicate with cultural awareness. You will be expected to improve quality while enhancing patient, employee, and learner experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered NP required. Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner & current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice also required. Have a NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire. CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
