About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Research and Teaching Faculty Member to join our team at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. As a key member of our Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, you will contribute to our mission of precision nutrition and lifestyle intervention approaches for the prevention and treatment of age-associated sarcopenia and cardiometabolic diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a nationally and internationally recognized research program in skeletal muscle biology and exercise physiology
  • Contribute to teaching efforts at the undergraduate and graduate levels in your area of expertise
  • Provide service to the school, university, and community
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Clinical and translational research experience
  • Expertise in evaluating protein dynamics
  • Scholarly activity and record of teaching and advising
