About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Strategist to join our Cloud Pricing Programs team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Own the annual strategic planning cycle and develop a comprehensive business plan that aligns with company goals.
  • Business Reporting: Drive key reporting mechanisms, including monthly goal updates and recurring business reviews, to ensure senior leadership is informed and aligned.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to deepen the broader organization's business understanding and deliver insights to drive business decisions.
  • Brand Management: Strengthen the Private Pricing brand, both internally and externally, by reviewing analyst reports, crafting executive communications, and more.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive mechanisms and workstreams for cross-functional efforts to strengthen org cohesion and effectiveness.
  • Senior Leadership Support: Provide support to senior leadership on other projects and initiatives as needed.
About the Team

Our team is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. We partner with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in business strategy, operations, or related field
  • Skills: 5+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, 5+ years of experience owning business reporting to senior leadership, and strong business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience owning and successfully delivering strategic Amazon documents (i.e., OP1/2, 6-pager, PRFAQ)
  • Skills: Strong written/verbal communication skills, data-proficient, and highly organized and operationally excellent
