**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Easterseals NY- Valhalla. The successful candidate will work closely with our Program Director to deliver exceptional speech therapy services to preschool children with communication disorders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaluating and treating communication skills, including receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills, and hearing. They will also develop comprehensive service plans according to program policies and regulations, providing therapy as outlined by treatment plans.

Additional responsibilities include instructing and counseling students/clients and/or their families regarding specific nature of their communications impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations.

The successful candidate will maintain professional standards in and out of the Center in compliance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics.

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Master's Degree or its equivalent in the field of Speech Pathology, as well as a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Hearing Association. A current state Speech/Language Pathologist license is also required. Three years' experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist is preferred.

**Salary Range:** $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
