  • Monday - Friday,
  • 7:30am - 4:00pm

Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility dedicated to providing outstanding rehabilitation and skilled nursing services in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We are currently undergoing A SIGNIFICANT RENOVATION UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Our team of skilled therapists and healthcare professionals is committed to helping residents achieve their highest potential in health and wellness. We strive to create a serene environment that supports rehabilitation and recovery. Our mission is to deliver high-quality care with respect and compassion through a collaborative approach focused on individualized goals.

We provide EXCELLENT Aetna Health benefits starting the first of the month following the hire date, along with other essential benefits.

  • The Speech Language Pathologist will enhance residents' communication, cognitive-linguistic skills, and swallowing abilities by developing, directing, and overseeing a comprehensive Speech Language Pathology therapy program.
  • The Speech Language Pathologist will establish a program to prevent, assess, evaluate, diagnose, and treat any disorders affecting speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing in adults.
  • The Speech Language Pathologist will educate residents and their families about the therapy programs.
  • The Speech Language Pathologist will ensure quality patient care through screening and evaluation, development of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid professional license in NY in good standing.
  • Compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding SLP therapy is required.
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/Nursing Home is mandatory.
  • SLP/CCC or SLP/CFY certification is required.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
  • Must demonstrate a spirit of cooperation, care, and enthusiasm to foster an environment conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
  • Genuine interest in assisting residents who are ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally distressed, or present challenges.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Able to perform well under pressure and collaborate effectively with all staff members.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT REQUIRED; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccinations based on CDC eligibility guidelines.
