As a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the communication and cognitive abilities of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive therapy programs tailored to individual resident needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide education and training to residents and their families regarding therapy processes and goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and optimal recovery outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday
7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid professional license in New York.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and effective care.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
