Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DSUS Assistant Manager to join our team at Daifuku. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the business and financial activities of our airport site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Decision Making: Assist in reviewing financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, capital expenditures, payroll, and other financial activities to maintain a financial overview of the location.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in establishing priorities and long-term planning to support the company's strategy and vision, and direct and modify work methods and processes as required.
  • Customer Management: Manage and adhere to customer contracts, and conduct regular relationship meetings with contract customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality standards.
  • Operational Management: Manage operational and administrative activities of the site, including work assignments, performance evaluations, hiring requirements, and career development of technical and office personnel.
  • Representative: Serve as the company's representative at the site, and conduct relationship meetings with contract customers on a regular basis.
  • Staff Management
  • Employee Development: Motivate employees and maintain employee morale, including timely completion of employee reviews.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company training programs, and monitor the company's Quality program in the station to ensure conformity and implementation of standards.
  • Safety: Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures on site and at any remote job site.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional duties and assignments as required by management, and work a flexible schedule based on site requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum 2-year college degree or two years of college towards a higher degree in a business-related discipline, or 2 years of equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Language: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Skills: Ability to accept responsibility and account for actions and results, use thinking and reasoning to solve problems, take care of customer needs while following company procedures, and demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ability to work with scanning and copying equipment.
  • Other Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge, have and maintain a valid driver's license, and be insurable under the company's insurance policy.
