SVA is seeking a talented Customer Technical Support Representative IV to join our Service Desk supporting the Coast Guard in St. Louis, MO.
This role requires technical software, hardware and network problem resolution skills to provide top-notch support to clients.
The ideal candidate will possess a Dod 8570 baseline IAT Level II certification (Security+ preferred) and a DoD Secret security clearance.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience, including experience with ticketing systems and maintaining configuration management data, is required.
The salary for this position is estimated at around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I and II technical software, hardware and network problem resolution for clients by performing problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
- May provide expertise to solve first and second tier technical support issues for end-users of the organization's products and services.
- Resolve problems or contacts more senior technical support as necessary.
- Use automated information systems to analyze routine situations.
- Support users by fulfilling individual requests for information and/or training in the utilization of the various databases available.
- Receive and process end user calls, emails and portal request; enter required data into ticketing system.
- Interact with other team members, such as network services, software engineering, and/or applications development to restore services and/or identify and correct the core problem.
- Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to commute within 1.5 - 2 hours from St. Louis, Missouri.
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university is desired.
