Job Summary

This entry-level management position is responsible for supporting the negotiation of industry-leading national agreements for the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) within the sourcing operations department. The objective is to ensure best-in-class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in strategic sourcing processes, including goal development, strategy implementation, and risk mitigation.
  • Build strategic relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Develop and present strategic sourcing presentations and communications.
  • Manage contract loading, summary sheets, and terms and conditions.
  • Assist in contract life cycle management (CLM).
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Conduct financial and data analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Interpret and utilize market information provided by the global sourcing team.
  • Develop and maintain supplier profiles and leverage this knowledge for executive strategies, risk mitigation, and supply chain transparency.
  • Manage portfolio intelligence reporting and supply chain resiliency initiatives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and portfolio directors to address supply disruptions.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance preferred) - Preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience (i.e. strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, supply chain operations, materials management, purchasing, financial analysis) - Preferred
  • Healthcare knowledge - Preferred
