Job Summary
A skilled professional with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience in dietetics practice to excel as a Registered Dietitian.

The primary duties of the Registered Dietitian encompass direct patient care through the implementation of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP). This includes conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, establishing nutrition diagnoses, and developing evidence-based nutrition interventions. The role also involves coordinating services related to Medical Nutrition Therapy and providing nutrition education and counseling for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate confidently and respectfully with patients and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships, contributing to a culture focused on providing safe, high-quality care.
- Adhere to the code of ethics for the dietetics profession and perform Nutrition Care Process and Nutrition Focused Physical Exam as necessary for optimal patient care.
- Document and maintain records in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Mentor and educate dietetic interns and other students, including medical students.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Nutrition Services regularly to ensure quality care.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Required: CRT-Registered Dietitian (RD) certification and a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands
- Capable of performing various physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and pushing as needed in a clinical setting.
- Ability to maintain clinical productivity standards and accurate records of daily activities.

Work Environment
- Part-time position with day shifts, focusing on providing quality nutrition services.
