Compensation Information

Salary range for the Washington, DC area:

  • GG-11: $82,764 - $107,590
  • GG-12: $99,200 - $128,596
  • GG-13: $117,962 - $153,354

Job Overview

As a Budget Analyst, you will collaborate with contracting and technical teams to ensure the availability of financial resources necessary for mission accomplishment. Your duties will encompass budget development, program expenditure plans, and financial analysis to assist program managers and NRO leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Creating budgets to support strategic plans, programs, and initiatives
  • Formulating program expenditure plans and overseeing contractor performance
  • Drafting multi-year funding strategies for programs
  • Conducting research and providing recommendations to resolve budgetary issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience with federal budgeting processes
  • Expertise in financial databases and spreadsheet applications

  • Acquisition and Information Assurance certifications may be needed
