Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial due diligence for clients who are acquiring businesses, working as part of a team to identify key financial and operational issues.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements, providing actionable insights to inform their strategic choices.
  • Participate in client meetings and site visits, interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas of the practice, including tax, audit, and other consulting practices, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Represent the firm in community activities and professional associations, promoting our brand and values.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the time employment commences.
  • A major in Accounting or a related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 20-30% locally and nationally, with access to reliable modes of transportation.
  • 0 - 2 years relevant work experience, with a strong academic record and a minimum 3.5 GPA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint), with the ability to analyze and present complex financial data.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions, including education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $60,720 - $72,450

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
