Are you ready to accelerate your career in a rapidly expanding advisory team? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Consultant to join our IT Risk and Compliance Consulting practice.

Daily, you will have the opportunity to learn and work alongside a broad mix of highly talented subject matter leaders and team members both at Forvis Mazars and at our clients. You will have an environment to explore and experience emerging, and relevant topics based on your interests and alignment to your short and long-term career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and report on IT audits as well as business process audits.
  • Assess technologies, identify controls, and test controls.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of IT Audits, SOX Audits, Security & Privacy Consulting, Business Continuity, and Process Improvement Projects, appropriate for the engagement.
  • Maintain and achieve high-quality work, client relations, and team relations.
  • Acquire the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
  • Serve in more of a leadership role on client work as technical knowledge and experience grows.
  • Support any training and mentoring to staff and interns, as necessary.
  • Execute and help to lead client engagement activities in all phases of the project life cycle from start to end.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of IT Auditor experience from a public accounting firm, a professional services firm, or within industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • BA or BS in Information Systems, accounting, finance, computer science or another related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel at a minimum of 15% - 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in information systems, accounting, finance, computer science or another related field.
  • CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP or CIA certification.
  • Advanced Microsoft office suite expertise.
