Quinn Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Coatings Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of bridge structure coatings under the direction of our Construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and inspect the work of Contractors to ensure quality control and contract compliance for bridge structure coatings.
- Take field measurements of pay items and maintain daily diaries.
- Effective communication with Contractor and project staff, including written and oral communication.
- Task and time management, with functional computer usage including familiarity with Microsoft office suite software.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- Expected to have successfully completed the Association for Materials Protection and Performance Basic Coatings Inspector Program with 12 months experience of bridge coatings inspection.
- Basic knowledge of NCDOT Road and Bridge Specifications, state and federal environmental and safety guidelines and regulations, and use of contract management software including Site Manager.
- Required certifications: Intermediate Work Zone Traffic Control, 10 Hour OSHA Safety Training, and Basic Coatings Inspector.
- Proficient with functional computer usage, including familiarity with Microsoft office suite software.
- Familiarity with Site Manager & Plan Grid software.
- Read and interpret Structure and Bridge plans and specification.
- Maintain detailed records.
- Perform and document required materials testing.
- Communicate with the agency and contractor personnel and the general public.

- Two weeks paid vacation in accordance with the company policy.
- Personal Time Off per the company policy.
- Paid holidays are provided per the company policy.
