Job Summary:
Cohesive Healthcare Management is a leading provider of non-emergency medical transportation services. We are seeking a responsible and compassionate Medical Transportation Coordinator to transport our patients to and from their medical treatment appointments in a safe, secure, and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation: Safely and timely transport patients utilizing company vehicles and complying with all applicable motor vehicle laws, rules, and/or regulations.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional image and attitude to patients, visitors, and co-workers, providing excellent customer service experience while assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring, and timely manner.
- Logistics: Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and maintain vehicle cleanliness, accurately complete activity logs required for transportation services rendered.
- Teamwork: Serve as part of a two-person stretcher team to assist the stretcher van driver by navigating the stretcher or wheelchair to and from the van at the pick-up and drop-off locations.
Requirements:
- Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred), Leadership Experience: 1 year (Preferred), BLS Certification (Preferred), Active OK EMT or EMR Certification (A Plus Not Required)
- Skills: Excellent time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, utilize a GPS device or Smartphone/Device with GPS capability, proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- Personal Qualities: Must be able to pass a Criminal Background and Drug Screening, must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, flexible and comfortable with driving short and long distances.
