Role Summary:

NxT Level is in search of a seasoned Structural Engineer to contribute to our Albuquerque, New Mexico office. This position offers the chance to design and oversee structural engineering projects across various sectors, including advanced manufacturing, healthcare, sports, office spaces, and educational facilities. The role is situated in a newly established and growing office, providing a wide array of opportunities for client engagement and professional growth.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee engineering and technician teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Coordinate structural design efforts both internally and with external consultants.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Create and implement project-specific quality assurance and quality control plans.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Participate in project meetings and represent NxT Level during all design and construction activities.
  • Engage actively in building and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • A minimum of 9 years of progressive engineering experience (with relevant advanced degrees and certifications contributing to experience).
  • Exhibits leadership qualities that will enhance the company's future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Background in working on Department of Energy and Department of Defense projects.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills.
  • Advanced project management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
