The Healthcare Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating medical care coordination, offering support to both patients and psychiatric professionals, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to all patients, whether in-person or remote.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence:

    Foster a positive workplace culture by engaging in activities that enhance clinician and staff morale, promoting a cohesive environment.

  • Patient Support:

    Assist psychiatric professionals with essential patient care tasks, including managing prior authorizations, lab orders, and patient documentation.

  • Communication Management:

    Handle incoming calls to the medical services line, addressing patient inquiries related to medications, appointment scheduling, and other requests.

  • Clinician Assistance:

    Provide administrative support to clinicians, including managing correspondence and coordinating responses to patient inquiries.


Required Skills:
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities to ensure high-quality patient experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare operations or customer service is advantageous.
