About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MiLB Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Miami Marlins Medical Team. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our minor league players, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care to minor league players, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, and medical treatment.
  • Collaborate with our physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and other medical staff to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of baseball injuries and general medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs and protocols to minimize the risk of injury to our players.
  • Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and other team staff to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • BOC Credentialed Athletic Trainer (Master's Degree and CSCS preferred)
  • Experience working with MiLB or MLB
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
  • CPR Certified
Work Environment

This role will work in an athletic training room, weight room, baseball complex, office, and stadium environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium and weight room environments. Work is medium in demand, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds and frequent carrying of objects. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
