Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

SMX Corporation is seeking a skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our Information Technology Team supporting NAWCAD at Patuxent River, MD.

Job Summary:

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and administering contractual delivery of services to our customer as the main point of contact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Perform management, technical, or business case analysis to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Collect, compete, organize, and interpret data relating to project acquisition and product programs to support informed decision-making.
  • Track program/project status, budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Clearance Required: Secret, Secret to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Ability to maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 7+ years of related IT experience required.
Desired Skills:
  • Past DoD Program Management experience.
  • PMP certification.
