Legislative Manager

The Department of Consumer Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Legislative Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Legislative Affairs, you will play a critical role in reviewing, editing, and approving legislative and policy analyses, as well as performing various analytical and research assignments on issues of interest to the Department.
Key Responsibilities- Review and edit legislative and policy analyses to ensure accuracy and quality
- Approve final drafts of analyses and reports
- Conduct research on issues of interest to the Department
- Develop and implement projects and day-to-day work of the Division staff
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve Department goals
This is a hybrid telework position, allowing for a balance of remote and in-office work.
Special RequirementsThis position is subject to the Department's Conflict of Interest Regulations and requires the submission of a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office, annually by April 1, and within 30 days of leaving office.
