Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology Travel Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Evanston, Illinois. As a travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • One to three years experience as a Sonographer preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
