Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement patient education programs to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current ARDMS certification in one or more modalities (e.g., RDMS, RDCS, RVT)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
