Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel contract in Evanston, IL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to help patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and answer any questions they may have.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Document patient information, test results, and any other relevant data in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with a preference for 2 years or more.
  • Valid IL license to practice as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • BLS certification.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
