Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of community staff.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and entertainment arrangements.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents to gather feedback and suggestions for future activities.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for community events, ensuring financial accountability.
  • Facilitate tours and orientations for new residents, providing them with essential information about community offerings.
  • Act as a liaison between residents and various departments, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of events, activities, and resident participation.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a related field, including at least one year in recreational programming.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate community events.
  • Experience in managing diverse groups and fostering inclusive environments.

Work Environment: This position is primarily based in a residential community with a dynamic atmosphere. The role requires both office work and outdoor engagement during events, necessitating adaptability to varying noise levels and activity types.

Physical Requirements: The position may involve lifting and moving items up to 30 pounds, as well as standing, bending, and reaching as needed for event setups.
