Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Eliot is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional care to adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

As an Occupational Therapist at Eliot, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are dedicated to providing innovative and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to staff members in assessing clinical crises and intervening to assist individuals on a daily basis.
  • Offer daily clinical training and direction to staff members to ensure they are equipped to respond to individual needs.
  • Observe and evaluate individuals to identify conditions and needs, and work with the team to determine the best course of action.
  • Act as a resource to provide support and education to individuals, their families, and other supports about their condition and needs.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with outside supports, including medical services, psychiatric services, and family members.
  • Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate services, including accessing and utilizing resources to meet individual needs.
  • Analyze individual needs and provide customized services as needed.
  • Participate in the assessment process and development of treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop lasting relationships with individuals and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $69,680.00 annually.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm schedule.
