Job Summary

The Multi-Modality Technologist II is responsible for performing and producing images for various medical procedures, utilizing a combination of imaging modalities such as CT, XR, and MRI. This role requires a strong understanding of imaging techniques, patient safety, and radiation protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment and accessories to minimize risk to patients and equipment
  • Select appropriate imaging sequences based on multiple factors
  • Perform venipuncture and maintain intravenous access
  • Provide radiation protection and other necessary precautions
  • Obtain and verify patient clinical history and lab work
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institution in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Ultrasound/Medical Sonography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • State licensure certification (as required by the state where the job is performed)
  • Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training
  • Picture archiving communication system (PACS) training
  • Radiology Information System (RIS) training
  • IV Contrast Administration training
