Orthodontic Clinical Assistant Role with NuSmiles Orthodontics

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Orthodontic Clinical Assistant at NuSmiles Orthodontics. As a member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Salary: $48,000 - $58,000 per annum (dependent on location).
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and maintain patient records
• Prepare teeth for bonding of braces and Invisalign attachments
• Scale cement and check for loose brackets or bonds
• Deliver all instruments to sterilization for sterilization
• Debrief patients and parents after appointments
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
• Self-motivated, organized, and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
